| Notes |
- It is uncertain if Johann Friedrich remarried after his first spouse died, or if there was only one spouse.
Johann Friedrich's child Georg Friedrich b. 1838 shows Christina Seib as mother on the St John's church death records in Lincoln, Nebraska. As the 1834 census shows Maria Katharina Unknown and 2 earlier children had Christina in their names, it seems a possibility that Maria Katharina Unknown may in all actuality be Maria Christina Seib. The confusion over the mothers name could be caused by a transcription or translating error on the 1834 census??? Pleve on his Reifschneider surname chart for Kukkus shows Maria Katharina as the mother also. He does not show two spouses or a deceased spouse.
If these two names represent two separate females, then Christina would have died after 8 Mar 1838, Georg Friedrich's birth date, and then Johann Friedrich remarried after that.
