  Information provided by Theresa Jennings Hess- Katharina Metzker (1853-1913) who married George Philip Bell (1844-1893) was born in Stahl am Tarlyk on January 3, 1853. She was the daughter of Christian Gottfried Metzker, born 1809, and his 3rd wife, Anna Katharina Kromm, born 1816. She is listed in Family #104 in the 1857 Stahl am Tarlyk census with her parents, she is age 4. Her full name was Anna Katharina Metzker. In about 1894, Katharina Metzker Bell and her 4 children migrated east to a village outside Omsk Siberia. Katharina Metzker Bell migrated to the US in 1903 with her daughters, Katherine Elisabeth Bell Hess and Katherine Bell Metzker, and their families. She joined her son Konrad Bell and her other daughter Katherine Margaret Bell Baum
