• Notes

  Died less than a month after entering country. Entry was delayed at Ellis Island due to being 'sick'. His entire family was marked "sick". Perhaps he died from lingering effects of this illness. Death certificate said pneumonia. Death cert had age of 5. His age was 3 according to the ship manifest. Perhaps language difficulties had to do with the apparent error on one of these records.
